    00:00:00 Creating trees individually by hand can can quickly become very laborious and wasteful of your time. At ActionCAD we can automatically create trees directly from survey data. This makes producing tree plans much more cost effective.

    00:00:00 I locate the trees by dropping them over a scanned image from a paper markup. If northings and eastings are collect during the survey then the trees can be located automatically on the plan, but I don't show how to do that here.
    00:00:00 When using scanned images of markups to show tree locations it is very important to scale and orientate the image to fit the plan. Autocad's 'scale' and 'rotate' commands are perfect for this but always use the 'reference' option of these commands.
