How to configure free VirtualBox to install and run Ubuntu 7.10 on MacBook OS X 10.4. No audio, keep note on.

Dowload Ubuntu from http://www.ubuntu.com

Create a New virtual machine

Create a New hard disk

Configure CD/DVD-ROM to mount downloaded Ubuntu iso file

Start virtual machine

Virtual machine will boot from Ubuntu iso file

Wait about 2 or 3 minuntes

Remember "Left cmd" key (the apple key at the left of space bar) to uncapture mouse

Double click on Install icon

Partition virtual hard disk

Set your login name and password (remember are Case Sensitive)

Start the installer

Take a rest it need about 45 minutes

Unmount CD/DVD-ROM Drive

Start virtual machine to boot on your new Ubuntu install
